A mat-forming perennial grass, which spreads by underground stems and very heavily, branched, creeping surface stems that root down at the nodes (stolons), 4-6 kg/ha with spacing 40cm by 50cm, 6-10 kg/ha by broadcast method.
Kikuyu grass is a broad-leafed grass variety that originates from East Africa. It is an evergreen grass, resistant to drought, and repairs quickly from wear and tear.
