Activity
Bestox® is a broad spectrum and highly active pyrethroid insecticide which acts on pests through contact and ingestion. It rapidly knocks down pests and effectively controls common pests like aphids, caterpillars, bollworms, cutworms, thrips, and maize stalk borers among others. Bestox® is very effective at very small dosage thus environmentally suitable and cost effective.

Rate and Method of Application
Measure the required quantity of bestox and pour into a half filled tank of water, fill up the tank, Bestox mixes well with water; then spray affected crop on both upper and underside of leaves to wet. Repeat spray in 7 – 14 days and avoid spraying during mid-day sun.
· Bollworms, caterpillars, armyworms and other foliar chewing pests: – 5mls, Bestox in 20 litres of water.
· Stalkborers, stemborers, beanfly, shortfly and related pests: – 50mls Bestox in 20 litres of water and spray to wet.
· Cutworms: – 10mls Bestox in 20 litres spray the ground after crop germination.
· Cereal Aphids: – 100mls Bestox in 20-60litres per ha spray.
Timing of Application
Foliar spray Bestox 100 EC at the onset of pest appearance.
Precautions
Bestox is pest control product, which must be handled carefully as per the product label.
Storage
Bestox should not be kept near sources of heat, open flames, or hot surfaces. It should be kept in its original package, tightly closed, away from food and animal feeds.
